  1. The brand-created holiday

The brand-created holiday In recent years, sneaker trends have shifted away from performance basketball and retro shoes to more modern runners. Some people choose to wear running shoes strictly for fashion, while others use them for actual sport. Whether you're the former or the latter, there's no question that athletic brands are aiming to reach both types of buyers and are all in direct competition for the number one spot. As two of the world's biggest sportswear retailers, Adidas and Nike are the top contenders and their best running sneakers have been subject much comparison — the Adidas Ultra Boost and Nike Air nike air vapormax VaporMax. Nike will kick off the celebration of Air Max Day early by dropping an updated version of the Air VaporMax next month alongside a collection of sneakers releasing for the brand-created holiday. A follow-up to the 2017 debut, the Air VaporMax 2.0 updates the structure on both of heel and the toe. Similar to the previous rendition, Flyknit construction is seen on the upper with the full-length VaporMax Air nike air max 90 unit on the sole. Additional details include a pink Swoosh with a teal heel cup. Shortly after we shared a look at Virgil Abloh’s upcoming Nike Mercurial VaporMax Hybrid, a preview surfaced of what to expect from this year’s Air Max Day releases. Within the aforementioned tease we were provided with a look at the sequel to “THE TEN”‘s Nike Air VaporMax model. This time around we take a closer look at the White/Black-Total Orange iteration, courtesy of our friends at Stadium Goods, that’s expected to launch soon.
  2. A new adidas NMD R

A new adidas NMD R A few weeks ago, we took an in-depth look at the upcoming footwear collaboration between NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas just ahead of its impending February 24 drop. With that said, it appears as though a new adidas NMD R1 adidas NMD tonal variant has surfaced, which will join the previously teased renditions. Sporting a clean black finish all the way around, this new release, too, features the shark tooth design along the front, in addition to the familiar side panel overlay and heel strap. adidas and NBHD branding found on the EVA plugs, tongue and heel tab helps tie the look together. This new NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Originals NMD R1 “Triple Black” version is expected to land at pop-up shops in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Los Angeles on February 24. The NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas adidas nmd r1 collaboration continues onto 2018 as both brands have produced this exclusive NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD R1. This version of the silhouette basically features a black upper detailed with jagged white triangular patterns, along with branded tongue labels, pull tabs and EVA insert overlays featuring Japanese imprint. A blacked out Boost midsole finally completes the design altogether. Following up on a three-part collab with INVINCIBLE last year, Japanese streetwear giant NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas adidas nmd r2 Originals join forces once more for a mean-looking NMD R1 model. The bold black and white sneakers were first seen in mid-2017 with on-feet photos appearing shortly after. This eye-catching design features a black sock-like upper with high-contrast hits of white at the stitching, NEIGHBORHOOD Brigade branding and shark-tooth motif — the same pattern seen on the duo’s 2015 Boston Super OG sneaker. A murdered-out, full-length BOOST midsole completes the slick colorway while also providing the premium comfort and cushioning we’re all familiar with.
  3. Nike Flyleather is an important step New Yorkers looking to grab the "Free Throw Line" Air Jordan 3 are going to have to keep an eye on the Nike SNKRS app. Ahead of its official Feb. 14 release date, this special pair commemorating Michael Jordan's 1988 NBA Dunk Contest victory will be dropping on Nike SNKRS Pass. With the latest effort against these iconic silhouettes, The 1 Reimagined, a discrete group of internal Nike designers rethink the Nike nike free Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 for the first time. The 14 women behind the project represent distinct skill sets within Nike’s more than 1,000-strong design group. Among them are colorists and materials specialists, as well as men’s and women’s mainline footwear designers. The focus of their work was to establish five new articulations of both icons, unrestrained from concerns beyond pure design. Dressed in an Anthracite, Volt, and Wolf Grey color scheme. This Nike Free RN Commuter 2017 features a knitted upper with elastic fastening, pull tab at the heel atop a Free Run sole. As a nod to the Air Max 95 nike free laufschuhe , the shoe is highlighted with Neon accents. Sustainable and premium. Durable but light. Engineered for performance. Nike Flyleather is a new super material — made with at least 50 percent recycled natural leather fiber and water power — that has the potential to be as game-changing as Nike Flyknit. "The earth is the athlete’s biggest playground, so one of our greatest opportunities is to create breakthrough products while protecting our planet,” says Hannah Jones, Nike Chief Sustainability Officer and VP of the Innovation Accelerator. “Nike Flyleather is an important step toward ensuring athletes always have a place to enjoy sport."
